Has anybody else experienced this. Using ambient lighting does work, you can get complete darkness and then add lights to areas that you want lit. Problem is the lighting gets rendered as you walk, so if you have a hallway you can see the lights turn on as you get closer. Appears to be about 6 grids away.

My settings are:
Ambience Level 5
Ambience Red = 150
Ambience Green = 150
Ambience Blue = 150

No Lightmaps

I attached an example of the problem. You should see the lights turn on ahead after the forth turn. Once you see it you can move back and forth to see the effect of light turning off and on. Continue to the end and you should see it happen several times.

Not sure if it's a bug yet, could be something on my side. That is why I attached the fpm file. So someone could verify if it's a me problem or not. Thanks though

Windows XP sp2, P4 3.4GHz, 1GB memory, ATI RADEON™ 9800 w/256, 100GB HD.

So did the map file I uploaded not do what I described on your machine?

Edit:
I just compiled and then ran the program on my other PC that has a matrox card with three monitors attached. Looked pretty cool running on three monitors but the same problem occurs so I don't think it is my game machine.
