When I set my level as an arena, it won't build the exe file. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to get out. Plus, I made one that worked somehow, but when you join a game it says "preparing to join" forever.

Do you have teleporters? Did you allow the host to be playing before you even tried to join? Did you type ip address or just one, type the ip address. If host is using a router if so you will never be allowed to join.

Not true. As long as the host has everything set up properly it should be fine.
