With this program you can adjust the menus for the FPSC game in a visual mode. Add, move, change the sizes, color and textures without touching any line of code! The program will approach both to beginners and to professionals. You will see the generated script and its changes in real time, and can make necessary changes.

WOW! That's cool! I'll see if my dad will buy it, but we have to wait to see how much his credit card is billing him for the money exchange from the LAST order. Then I will see if I can buy it

Also, what about updates? Can these be expected free for owners of the program?

I also like how the code is at the bottom. Can people edit this if, lets say, they make a some option features in the FPSC source code, so could they type in their functions in the script?

Overall, very good job! I like the interface. Any chance of a demo or something? (Just a thought )

All updates will be free.

You can drag hud objects by mouse or change script at bottom - all changes will be shown in real time.

@Zero #43:

I'm quite sure the answer is no, since all this program is, is a menu layout system. It doesn't "do" anything except save positions of the buttons and such. When you click on the button, it will run whatever script it is attached to.

Yes, I understand what Monster is saying, but if you think by making a Save Game menu that the Save Game feature will automatically write itself, compile itself and work, I believe your mistaken.

Ok, I'm glad you follow. I didn't want you to get the idea that if you make a menu called "What we do every night Pinky, try and take over the world!" that it would actually work.

I hope you enjoy his software!

Nice prg, using it now.

One suggestion, when you click 'Add Object' can you allow it to ask if it is to be a button, display, or whatever and use a placeholder?

Thanks.

Hmm, great pack Monster! I like it more than your Jetpak Add-On.
Àutomatic tint changer, cool. Now, it will be a lot more easy to position the huds than intering random values to check after...

Keep up teh good job!

All you need do to get a terrain into FPSC is place it as a static entity (.x file model) just like any other. That is once you have made it.

Its well documented around previous forum posts by myself and others. Theres a video link showing terrain in FPSC floating around somewhere - I posted long back.

Theres a pic attached of a full FPSC level size terrain in an MP level. The terrain covers the whole level at just below the normal ground plane level so all paths and such like sit on top of it. Placing such a terrain is a matter of getting the .x file model scaled correctly then - its default height correct in script and when you place the terrain entity you must click its position (place) in your level into the centre tile of FPSC as thats where the engine sees its actual location.

I found that the frame does slow a bit and will get slower as you add more dynamic entities.

I start working on terrain system for FPSC. It will be very simple to use but very powerfull addon. You'l be able to add terrains into FPSC in one click, modify in realtime...

Updated version of FPSC Menu maker will be out soon. All you want to see will be in.

Terrains themselves have little influence (almost none) on Frame Rates if you are sensible and create your terrain with a sensible number of vertex points/polygons.

As a HMP generated terrain you could choose to create a terrain of say 40 x 40 tiles (or equivalent = to FPSC tile numbers) if you like which if I am correct would work out at 80 x 80 polygons for your HMP and final .x file model.

Thats what I do and it gives enough polys to make collision absolute while making the terrain shape relatively smooth and controllable.

Static entities in general have much less influence on FPS than do either dynamic entities or world objects (walls). Remember as they dont need to have any brains - keep their script files as simple as possible and their influence on gameplay small.
