Don't know whether this is a bug, but it's certainly not the effect I expected when using this command...

Pressing 'a' should lock the object on screen so that upkey and downkey have no visable effect, right?

Doesn't seem to be the case, instead my object seems to consume the whole screen. Got me baffled, maybe I'm missing something.

From the help:
Quote: "A locked object will be positioned as though the
camera had never been altered from its default orientation."

When you lock an object, its coordinates became like if the camera would be at 0,0,0.

In your example, it "seems like" positioned at 0,0,100 when locked (the object position relative to 0,0,0).

So it seems to work like it should...

Personally, I prefer to discuss my problems at the other forums before posting them at the bug's forum, just to confirm them. But it's ok with me.

Yeah, I misinterprated the documentation - not all that clear!
I understand now though, I was going by the current object position & view rather than that in relation to the 0,0,0 camera position.
Thanks!

Err.. wouldn't that completly screw up the whole idea of the command?

I mentioned it in IRC with no luck, quite quiet at the time. I've used the command in the past, with 3D scenes, but in that case i'd had the camera at 0,0,0
