Bullshock also has the right not to like it.

I think using FPSC Chat as a kind of indi Ebay is the real problem.

Whether it's fair, or not, it's irritating people. Some more than others.

Maybe the addon people need their own space. I don't think this issue is going to go away....

Stealing? In this world you snooze you lose. I am not knocking TGC but if you wait too long to distribute something you promote..then it is human nature for another party to step in and fill the void (and make money at it.)

If there was not a market for it Monster would not be able to sell it. The more packs the better. And besides, competition breeds a better product all around.

Just my worthless two cents.

And on the 'what I would like to see' question..not sure...I guess anything new is good.

his forest pack was great...i never had anything against that stuff...

its when he started to use the forum as a code base and the help people provided as a product...that i get irritated.

i think that maybe anything that is submitted by a writer should be in a way be protected.
if you submit anything ,anyone can use it for learning purposes,but if anything you submit is used in apps like what you say about waht monster is doing then if you can prove its your work they are selling without your permission the they should be banned from the forum,effectivley stopping the sale of it.

like merranvos jetpack,monster did the graphics but if i heard correctly monster " borrowed" the free script from this site ( aplogies all around if im wrong),monster should credit the writers by payment or mention on the item in question.
i dont think hes charging a lot for some of the stuff and some people will be glad of it,but if its going to stop people posting work for fear of it being used in a dishonest way then us learners lose out by seeing how other people do stuff,and learning from it.
i like the look of monsters road and trees and would buy them ( no paypal though) but if its not his work and the real owners disagree then tgc should take control of the situation,that way they can be nuetral and decide whether its fair.

personnally i think that if you post somthing then its for anyone to use as they see fit unless when you post it you say otherwise.

Monster didn't steal anything directly as far as anyone knows so I don't think banning him is going to solve anything.

He annoys people because someone will announce they're making something, then he brings out the same thing a week later, and charges money for it. It pretty much spoils the fun of seeing w.i.p's and learning from them like you said.

It's just not nice or community minded. If everything he brought out was his idea to start with he wouldn't be copping flak.

It also means no-one can do w.i.p type stuff for fear of getting their idea ripped. Not good.

in the pack should be the following

1.more people, modern and aliens and monsters and random other stuff
2.animals that act like characters like monkeys and aped and wolf and mice
3.MORE wepons in every time period.
4.a house set like sinks beds 9there already there i no)bathroom stuff refrigerator, and couches
5.TREES AND VEGETATION
6.big rockets and wepons of biggness and mass kablewy
7.uhhhhhh im out of idead for now....

they should also add more corpses cuz the other ones are only good for lab place and also need some terrain

when is the pack being released

like pore evil said more corpes like dead dudes in blood and arms feet and all that jaz

scientists u need guys in half life that get killed all the time

some music stuff like mikraphones and instrumionts

also some calte segments like curved off ground plates for the wall corners

last you need like cave objects, like pebbles walls stalagm,ites cliffs

hmm thats all i got right now some of those are segments i dont no if a model pack has segments but it should alleast be in v2

You would need to set the scale pretty high (in the .FPE) and the animations wouldn't show, from what I know.

Next model pack.... let's see.

1. Regular people, like casual family (yes dad, mum & kids), business male/female and such
2. Real life animals.
3. Cartoon like characters (again if possible a friendly looking family, besides all the armed guys & dolls)
4. Cartoon animal.
5. Modern day segments (doors, walls, windows, roofs and furniture), but I think that may be coming already.

If I do use FPSC to create a FPS? What's a FPS supposed to be anyway???

heh i would like some animals for a game based on bieng trapped on an island/ and yes modern day set would be nice/ thats it

i hope not alot of people learn about this software then theirs gonna be like 500,000,000 people creating crappy games and saying how do i put up a wall!
