Hi

I gave up for a while but decided that I would really kike this and need it (and being such an excellent program ). But there is now a new problem It says that it can't understand the commands inside the worldload.dba!

Any suggestions?

Sorry I've been gone so long, I've been doing other things and working on Map Edit V2 on the side. I've got a lot done and am working on undo\redo features right now. I am also updating my website and will be fixing the broken links. Sorry.

Umm...how could I do that. Sorry but I don't have FPS or the knowledge of how the program works.

I truly don't know why it would say that. What verson of Dark Basic Pro are you using?

I am using 5.9 and when I runt he worldload.dba it comes up with an error at line 166
Do I have to include it by adding it to the program through the project box?

Sorry and Thanks!

It shouldn't matter. Is all the files and media included in the same folder as the map?

Working on it now. Ya now it's Saturday

[Edit]
I got the links for Map Edit and ImageTrans up. This host may or may not be temporary, but to download the file, you go to the link supplied on my site and then have to left click on the filename of what you are downloading.

Map Edit can export objects as .x files, and Version 2 will also use memblock matrices, allowing you to save your landscapes as .x objects also.

Sorry its been so long, I've been busy. Also I'm sorry to say that I am not going to be continuing this project for awhile, so I would recommend using the early version or MatEdit.

Not to worry, I am here once again

I have started a new website and will be uploading Map Edit shortly. Since summer break is coming up, I will have more time and may work on Map Edit V2. You have no idea how much time it takes to make something of this quality

Hey, I spent all last night trying to get the old matedit 1.6 working with DB Pro. Odd bugs, the maps work on my computer but not my second test machine. Just downloaded this to see if it will work for me. If it works fantastic! Since DB Pro came out there seems to have been a distinct lack of free tools like this. Plenty of world builders to pay for but no free ones. This really helps us hobbyists who can't afford to keep shelling out for each tool they need. I used to love matedit and also I will be making use of the seam transition prog you put up. I used to have vantrans which did the same job, and have been trying to locate it for a couple of days now.

I remember when the DB site was full of these free programs for games making. How things change eh? Nice work! I'll let you know what I think.
