Thinking about it, telling everyone I was going to make a "piranha eats my little pony" simulator (The Thread I'm Regretting Starting) wasn't the best idea I've ever had. But I said it, and for once I might actually finish something I've started.

The thing is, if I want it to be realistic, I need 3d models of the piranha instead of 2d sprites. I've done a quick search for both fish and shark and found nothing on this board, hopefully not because they're impossibly hard to model and animate but because there are too many guns out there to bother modelling fish

If anyone can offer any advice on modelling fish (I'll be using milkshape) I'd be mucho greatful. I know the basics, use reference images, don't include polys you don't need etc but FISH, why did I say I'd use FISH.

Anyway, what's done is done, but I'd really appreciate some tips/advice.

Thanks people.

well, i would find a reference image then trace the outline of the fish with vertices...

from there i would connect them making faces and extrude it to make a rectangular thingy...

after that though you'd have to turn the box into a fish

I will see what I can come up with if I don't feel like absolute cr** tomorrow (who would've thought a Karate Comp would be so violent Well I got a medal and hit and scored a point hitting the best black belt that was allow to compete which is difficult )

Anyway, best thing to do is look at what it looks like, search google images, go fishing, stink your room out with it, make your parents complain tell em to eff off and that ur working....wait I'm side tracking.....

Anyway, I'll see what images I can make to help you , I will used box modelling as every 3D modelling app I've used has it

The name is back dudes!
