Is it possible to rotate sprites in DBC?

Only if you take an image, rotate it in a drawing program and resave it.

UFO,

Well, there is an unspecified command in DBC, which can accually be rather useful in some situations. ROTATE SPRITE Sprite Number,Degrees. However, the degrees value can only be either 0,90,180 or 270.

It works well to create a 3D plain faced the same direction as the camera, and rotate it on that axis. This is your only other option in DBC.

2D art programs like Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop.

So there isn't any way to do that besides makeing seperate images for each direction? I don't want to be involved in 3d yet because I am not good enough at it yet.

I really sugguest moving on to 3D pretty soon. DB is not designed to do spectacular 2d games. Your better off doing some basic programming principles in 3d and using the 2d for things like menus and stat bars.

Since I started with Qbasic, I am good at 2d games and it is alot harder to grasp 3d stuff. I will once I get good enough.
