Okay,
[1] is it possible to have ladders in fpsc?

[2] can you make sticky grenades?

[3] flargy stickbibble?

[4] is shrapnel possible?

[5] i read in the manuel that there was going to be an entity editor. Where?

[6] can you make a skyscraper?

[7] can you have the lifts crash?

[8] can you edit how far the bullets go? (i\'m hoping to make an axe)

[9] can you make a hole in the top of a corridor, as to make it sewer-esqe?

[10] can you make a thin layer of water over the ground, so you can step in it and make a small splash?

i\'m a newbie, please help!

[1] Well, in EA yes, but because of the physics, not anymore. They are putting it back in.

[2] Wha?

[3] again, wha?

[4] once again, wha?

[5] um, no, but there is a segment editor. An entity editor is a 3D modeler.

[6] yes, through entities or segments

[7] I don't know.........maybe, through scripting......

[8] No, no, I don't think so.

[9] yes, by making segments, Wheel Gator is makin' sewers.

[10] Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I don't know.......

Thanks, but one more question:

If you make a large, heavy object fall on an opponent, is it possible to make a bone smashy noise on him armchair?

Not halo, I hate that game! It's just another over-hyped sequel! I was actually more shooting (pun intended) for a Timesplitters type game.

Oh, BTW, ask yourself before you use over 33 four-letter words concerning how "amazing" or "stupendous" halo 2 is, what has halo got that many other shooters don't already have? TS3 has everything halo 2 has and a groovy map editor to boot!

I have the same question that PureEvil has. What is that...that...thing? Anyway, sticky grenades may be possible, but it would be a b*tch to script, or at least I think so.

oh give me a break fist. Halo was great, TS2 sucked, Halo 2 was bad story but TS3 sucked more. The level editor is pathetic (I made pretty cool MP levels, but SP levels got too large.) too much prefabs, too little memory.

Seriously, how can a game with 50 different weapons be good?

Also, sticky gernades... take a look at the skull... anyone get any ideas (if not, I'll put it up after Riker 9).

You know, Halo 2 betas are classified as "Rock On" but Halo 2 was simply chopped up. There were more levels in H2, and longer levels. There was suppose to be a warthog training thing on the space stay... it got ripped out. They ripped everything out. (And over gave tanks (which are pathetically weak... I brought one down by shooting it to hell with the SMG and Plama Rifle.... pathetic))

Seriously, timesplitters have the same graphics, many more guns, and i was reffering to the Xbox version, there is no limit there. While i'm at it,

Story. Not a randomly changing one.
Scenery, active and lots of.

Shields (alot don't have recharging health, but halo2 sucked when they killed health)

Active Vehicals (a lot of games have train vehicals, halo is free with them)

many attack points (although halo2 killed this alot, but in halo1 there were millions of ways to beat a level, halo2 it is pretty much strait forward (run, or fight).

Better Weapons. End story. TS has 50+ weapons, seriously. Give me a few trusty weapons, and KEEP THEM.

TImesplitters has cars, did you even play it through?

Shields make the game far too easy to play

Timesplitters has a great story, again, did you even play it through?

Timesplitters doesn't have multiple attack points, but that's better! you never try it one way and realise you don't have the skills necessary to try it that way and restart!

Halo's weapons are painfully generic. Is there any creativity in the assult rifle? and i am reffering to TS3, not TS2 or 1.

While i'm here, halo has no minigames whatsoever, feels far more like an expansion to halo 1 in terms of gameplay and controls than an actual sequel, and seriously, halo has a complete and utter lack of comedy or humor. Many more maps than H2 (without multiplayer map pack)and many more charachters. In h2, you have the choice between convenant or spartan. In TS3, you can be a walking gingerbread man, a robot with a fish for a head and tons more.

Flargy is something i inexplicably shreik whenever i smack a robot with a crowbar in deus ex 1

Stickbibble is the language spoken by stick men. Heres a commonly heard quote spoken in stickbibble:

Quote: "Sqiddy nid dooby warg cladener!"

and the english translation:

Yes, that is what is infamous about the TS series, millions of differnet people, randomly changing scenes, and random weapons, and randomly changing story.
Yeah, that IS generic.

Shields isn't ease, it is stratigy, you really need to know how to play in order to realize that.

And the WEAPONS are better because you use them over and over, not beat a level, get new ones.

And without multiple attack points, the game becomes PAINFUL. Your fixed in one attack, you can't do something else, NOOO, only one way and one direction you can go. Once again, if you really play Halo (over halo2) you will see how much better multiple attack points is.

I beat both when i first got the Xbox, but then TS3 came out and i saw why advances in tech were made. But i ask you, why is halo so devoid of comedy? i played through halo and the only time i laughed is when i thought of master cheif dancing to "Mr. Roboto". BTW, sheilds only tactic is this:

1) Get shot at heavily

2) Run behind pillar

3) Recharge

4) Repeat

Does Halo have groin shots? I thought not. And multiple attack points are bad, don't get me wrong, but in lev. 4, you can go stealthy or total brute and smush all in your path, or maybe play Breaking and Entering, you can sneak through the facility, or make some bloody wall art all over, but multiple attack points should be in an RPG, not a FPS.

Timesplitters story doesn't randomly change, so let me spell it out for you: D-I-D Y-O-U P-L-A-Y I-T T-H-R-O-U-G-H-?

Quote: "And the WEAPONS are better because you use them over and over, not beat a level, get new ones."

Getting new guns in a new level adds both variety and challenge, Halo's guns just get repetitive.

Since when is multiple attack points bad??? i didnt know that being able to play a level over diffrrently then the first try is a bad thing.. it adds replay value to games. And i didnt know that "crotch shots" is what makes a game these days. The last thing i think about when playing a FPS is shooting people in the crotch.

IMO.. Halo is not a comedy, was never meant to be and hopefully will never become one. An attempt at comedic relief in the Halo series would come off as pretty odd to me and very out of place.

Want some humor out of a FPS? play the No One Lives Forever series.

Want action? Halo!

And please better explain "Squargy Stickbible" and what it has to do with FPSC cuz your explanation of it was even more confusing.

I agree that sticky grenades would be pretty kewl to have.

1) it's flargy stickbibble, and I meant that it's 2 words that have nothing to do with fpsc. Flargy is something i yell at the top of my lungs whenever i attack a MedBot in Deus Ex: The Conspirasy
with a crowbar. Stickbibble, I don't know how i could explain it better.

2) I've never heard of No One Lives Forever, what console is it?

3) Multiple attack points can make a level confusing, and make the player feel that they don't know where to go, and what to do.

4) Halo needs at least some one-liners, like just off the top of my head,
Quote: "Keep speaking jibberish, and you'll get more of the same."

Quote: "OK... Plasma vs Bullets... bullets 1, 2, 3... plasma 0... "

5)Crotch Shots can add humor to a game anytime. It makes the player become immersed in "holy &$#@ did you see that" heaven.

I say exactly what's on my mind, like "Imagine your grandpa in a speedo" or "I eat Jell-O while waxing the table" and my personal favorite, "I drink bathtub water"

No One Lives Forever was a great fps series for the PC(ps2 port was terrible) from the guys at Monolith(unfortunately for them, it wasn't the hit it should of been). It has to be one of the funnier titles i have played. Both part 1 and 2 were very very good in my opinion and the humor was just the added bonus. I would highly recomend it to anyone wanting to play a great fps with a comical twist.
