Zombie

chains that hang from ceiling, if not, ropes then

Clothed & bloody static corpses

severed head

static wall blood

Physics or static guy in noose

Dumpster

Resident evil 0-style mutant

Guy in corporate suit

Please w/ animations, i'm good at making plots and levels but have no model editors... and if you have anything like Blender, but simple or free, let me know.

Okay, yes I was Funky Cheese. Now stop asking!

I have hanging chains like in hellraiser. There are some bloody things you could hang from the chains or maybe just an unarmed zombie or corpse. Great for Christmas games!

Sad. Another post changed from request for models into a campaign for model packs that are assumed cheap, but only by the creator (Sinistar) and people who obviously either have lots of money to support evil model creators (PureEvil) or lack the ability to discern between good (Merranvo) and evil (Sinistar)

Mister Fist: I can't speak for the author (who has told me privately, but will announce when he's ready), but there will be some horror related models should help you with your projects. Good luck.

In fact if you promise not to listen to Limp Bizkit and give me your email I'll even send a couple of models your way.

Although your last post was a while ago, I have to address Mister Fist - Look, I've got nothing against you, but I'm surprised you haven't been n00b slapped all the way to n00bzville. You really arn't giving much respect for Sinistar - he has made some very good models, and it's not just a "bunch", there are quite a few models, all of which are quite good. Also, you should not reveal your age here unless you are of an age to release it. You can have your own opinion, that's fine. But please, whether you owe your parents money or not does not affect the quality and the reasonable price of Sinistar's models. Once again, I've got nothing against you, it just frustrates me a little .

Oh, and PureEvil - Merranvo doesn't suck, and he's certainly not evil. He's just the mysterious type who is in to hiding is his secret lair plotting the utter downfall of humanity! Does that sound evil to you?

@Mister Fist and Others

My 2 cents,

All this name calling does NOTHING to help your case! I find it simply amazing that after your comments to Sinistar, he STILL offers you some models for FREE!

I don't know about anyone else here, but after reading post after post of people acting this way or flat demanding something from those that offer whatever they can to the FPSC community, Well you can bet your lunch money I will NOT help anyone that acts like that and really hope no one else does.

if you dont want to pay out $ on models then do what im doing...make your own, that way your game will be unique and not the same models and scenery as everyone else is using, thats the problem with fpsc..every demo or game ive played on it has that familiar feeling youve been there or seen that b4,this is why i dont think fpsc is going to do well when it comes to a sellable product coz if you buy one youll find youve already got the models, scripts ands scenery.
lets see some originality, even though it will take time it will be worth it.

models take a lot of time and skill to make so why shouldnt these people ask for a small amount of money for the work involved, anyone giving models away for free is being very generous and shouldnt be told otherwise. but like i said, try to make your own,you might suprise yourself.

Well, you wanted models, what's the difference if it's in a pack?! thats even better, anyway. These models are very good, and if you wanty some fgree models, it will take you forever to find someone who will make them. then you have to wait for it to be done. plus, they will not be early a s good. stop aking for free stuff. if you can't afford it, don't buy it.

My personal thinking about this discussions is that all here we are supposed to be professional or professionals-to-be game developers, on a developer community. Not in a familiar fight with your small brothers or the children of the neighborhood.
No one can be blamed for not having enough money for purchasing something. Nor for having certain age. I remember the feeling.
But to have a place in a community you must respect the other members. That is a must.
For youngsters here, the moment is right to learn that others work should be respected because is the product of many hours of dedication and art.
Can't afford it? use a free option. Can not even model anything? either learn how-to, or pay for work already done. Everything has a cost.

If decided to learn, this is the place to ask: your community of game developers.Treat and expect to be treated with respect.

If now I can have a model done fast is because I have years training on that. It is OK to criticize and ask for improvements, but have manners please!

If in need of something, at least ask it gently. I have given my grain of sand. But this childish attitudes destroy the community and are really frustrating.
Please children, there are many grown ups here. We can help, and we could need help too (like in a team. That is another way of put the concept of community).

From now on I propose every mature member on the community to ignore every bad or immature comment posted.
We are losing too much time reading at small children fights, and am gonna be the first. Probably if have some free time am going to estimate some statistics of unproductive posts. We all would be amazed.
I purchased FPSC and many other tools with the sole purpose of making games, selling them and have profits. And learn and have fun. And you? To be fighting here? Naah.

Quote: "Please children, there are many grown ups here"

Quit acting like you're so much better than us just because you're older. You had me at the first paragraph, but then you said:
Quote: "time reading at small children fights"

we're the ones calling names now? Just becaouse one is young doesn't mean they can be any better at games or models. In fact, the young are usually better because they have more time in their days to learn. You may have seen one, but that doesn't mean all are like that.

Quote: "I propose every mature member on the community to ignore every bad or immature comment posted"

Sometimes the greatest of truths is hidden in the most arrogant of acts. And if this act is to be enforced, how will you get your messages out? Outside of the first paragraph all you do is call us small children and insult our knowledge.

Quote: "No one can be blamed for not having enough money for purchasing something. Nor for having certain age. I remember the feeling."

If you remember that feeling, then why are you so insulting? Usually someone says that and has a small amount of empathy, but you have a job, and you act like that changes everything.

I guess my point is, you say many things but are hypocritical to all of them.

I wasn't sayng I was right, but JDforce should have more empathy and be above calling us children. I admit I ought to have minded my temper more, but that doesn't mean we're children. Adults fight, kids fight, teens fight, seinors fight, everybody fights, but does that mean we're all children? Basically, this is what I think.

Quote: "My personal thinking about this discussions is that all here we are supposed to be professional or professionals-to-be game developers, on a developer community. Not in a familiar fight with your small brothers or the children of the neighborhood.

This quote had me but then i read on:

Quote: "Please children, there are many grown ups here. "

if you know that feeling, then why do you call us children? When you were feeling that feeling, would you have wanted to have been called a child?

Quote: "I propose every mature member on the community to ignore every bad or immature comment posted."

Don't people do that already? And if you intend to make this official, then does that mean people would ignore your post?

Quote: "he's not insulting, and he's not acting like he's better them us. he is helping the community, and i thank him for that."

What the heck is the point with this arguement? Doctor Evil, a pack for 10$ is extremely affordable. Most single models created these days cost more than 100$, each! I think it is a good pack, from the looks of the pictures. Though i am afraid i have other areas of attention at the moment, so i won't purchase it. But i can understand that a lot of others will.

Cheers,

i think jdforce is spot on,he put a veiw across and you have a go at him.
their are loads of model editors out there for free...find one and use it then you wont have to post remarks like you have done....im not having a go just pointing out that its getting tedious, you want stuff for free, try being a bit nicer.

EDIT: Didn't realise there was a second page. My post still makes sense, but less sense.

Doctor Evil - Please. This is getting ridiculous. I will start by saying this - When JD said:
Quote: "Please children, there are many grown ups here"
, he meant that children shouldn't make the assumption that every person on the forum is a child also. This means that you have to treat others with the respect they deserve, and don't look down on them as if they were all children. Their work means something whether they are 20, 16, 12, 3 or 87. They should have the same respect. When a child goes on a forum with adults, they need to take the responsibility to act mature.

On to the next quote:
Quote: "time reading at small children fights"

By this, he did not speicifically say that you are less important because you are a child, and hence "children fights". He meant that we simply don't want to spend our time reading through childish posts (he used small children instead, which may not have been the best wording)- that is a generic word, and applies to any member. 20 year old's can act childish. so can 7 year olds. It doesn't really matter.

Next quote:
Quote: "time reading at small children fights"

Once again, the word immature. Once again, generic word. Once again, your saying that Sinistar's model pack is bad purely because it costs money is not a very educated comment. I wouldn't have put it in those words, but he did.

Last quote:
Quote: "No one can be blamed for not having enough money for purchasing something. Nor for having certain age. I remember the feeling."

No one can be blamed for not having enough money, but that doesn't mean they can go critize someone's work because of that. I stand by what I said earlier. So, you may not have the money. But people are in this world to make money, and everyone has to deal with that. Simple. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it. Someone may not be able to afford a $1 mil. house, doesn't mean that house is bad.

Either way, it doesn't matter you are a child. You are still quite capable, I'm sure. But don't bring to mind the fact you are a child by acting this way. I hope my post doesn't offend you, and I'm only saying this to help. . I really hope your membership to these forums goes smoothly, and am looking forward to seeing any of your future projects.

I had never said that his work was bad, I admit i should have acted more mature, and i'm sure it is affordable to most people, but I am sick and tired of being called a child, or treated like dirt because of it. I know a freind of mine who is under 17 and has mastered C++, and does anyone call him a child or treat him like one? No, because he is more capable. Now I know what I said and did was wrong, but that doesn't mean I am any less productive. I know squat about coding, nothing of scripting (exept stop and play in actionscript)
but that does not give you the right to assume i'm too young to know this:

Quote: "By this, he did not speicifically say that you are less important because you are a child"

Specifically. Meaning he still thinks it, or at least jiffy does, that I am less important because I am a child.

Open your eyes enough?

Ok. I propose stop arguing and be constructive. Of course the word "children" and all of my comments are in a positive way and not intended to insult anyone. It is a figurative term of the image projected and attitudes perceived. And if you follow, the bottom line is "let's help each other". Sometimes one touches the sensitive spot, but my intention is like I said, constructive.
If Doctor Evil thinks I said "Mini-Me", I apologize.

So guys, in that line of thinking, Dr. Evil needed horror themed models, and in order to settle things I just created this static Velociraptor Corpse from a Dyno pack am building. Is really low poly, but looks good. Full of blood as requested. Hope it ends on some lab corner on your games. Not a big deal but I like it.
