I have been trying to animate a very simple set of cones. Basically there are four and it makes a + sign type thing. This is really for the heck of it, and to get used to how to animate. I think I'm doing something wrong when making the skeleton, and I have no clue what I'm doing when I go to animate it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

could you post screenshots of your problem, I found animation was a problem when I use to use it, you have to make sure the 'area detectors' that look like capsules cover all of the area you want to move

I can't afford to buy anything right now. So I'm wondering, is characteranimator free? If not then I guess I'll have to look around for something else to animate with.

BLENDER! Difficult UI, get your head around that and you got a great set of tools, its free, it has high quality tools etc, but takes a while to learn, I've just started to learn it, because I want to use its Bake tool.

Uhh....I tried Blender..I think I'm experiencing the same problem as I did with DBP. It can't find a specific .dll, so i deleted it
I imagine I have to have DirectX 9 for it as well?
