i take it you never weighted the bones properly?
edit up each bone and envelope them properly...
and make sure you weld the vertex first

its always funny to see someone do this (^_^)

One block follows the suit ... the whole suit of blocks is the path ... what have you found?

I didn't use bones, I used biped but it wasn't weighing the mesh properly (it does it automatically) so I have to make bones and envelope them myself.
