Well, i'm pretty new to DarkBasic, tinkering with the demo, my long held passion has always been 3D Modeling. So, figured i'd post some stuff i've done up here. All works were designed, modeled, well..everything by me. Enjoy!

oh yeah, and not all of them are game res. some are game res, some are film res. and not all of them are finished, a lot are WIP experiments in technique, and not one of them has a final texture.

some of these will make it into my space game i'm planning on making in DB...another long held desire, to make a game

The fleet scene is my favorite. I have several friends that like to build 3d models of Aether craft in that steam punk in space style.

the big ship in the first one is a film res (not close to being finished) model. its count is definately not suitable for games.

all the ships are meant for space. i like the old WWI and WWII battleships and what not. thanks for the comments!

Some of them have crow's nests on the bottom. A sure sign that they are space navy vessels. My friend Ian likes to use zepplin like propellers on some of his space iron clads.

Woah!!! Awesome models dude. Your space fleet reminds me of an old show "Starblazers".

oh, heheh...i should have mentioned, the red person i had a buddy of mine pull out of max for me. its a primitive man, i didnt model it.

lets see...i started modeling in 1997/8. so, 7/8 years. Not real sure on the exact year. I know i was around about 13/14. Somewhere in there, heheh. I've pretty well focused on low poly stuff, the sheer challenge of modeling with limited counts and getting decent results drives me like crazy. Every now and again i do film res, but predominantly game res stuff. i love it. now to figure out the programming aspect and combine the two

thanks for the comments guys!
