It looks fairly high poly, but that could just be the smooth shading. Would you be able to post a solid shaded model? Also, the geometry looks a little messy, and may be a pain to unwrap. Once again, a wirefram orthographic view would be helpful for us

that looks more like medieval armour, how many polys is it - it looks alot, and can you post the wireframe, we can judge it better with the wireframe

it is around 3000 polys so its not very high i will post other pics later after my trumpet lessons. also i was not sure what it was i guess it would look cool as a knight.

does any one have any color ideas?

P.S. the hands are just temporary until i make better ones.

looks like theres way to many polies in the head and forearms for the amount of detail thats there.

yes your right but i have no way to get them reduced and i think that 3000 polys is pretty reasonable. dont you?

yea theres a way... select all the polys and go under tools. then select i think either "short cut and plugin manager" or "selection editor". if its not one of those that lets you reduce poly count its another one of those tools. just browse around.
i think 1600 at the most is reasonable for the amount of detail thats actually in youre model.

kid the great,

Don't mean to be the bummer. However, I'm not liking the model much, due to each limb(even the upper to the lower torso) looking like seperate objects. Probably, because they are. Is it done this way for a reason?
