i'm just wondering something whilst i've been developing a math library for DarkBasic Standard/Enhanced

i don't suppose doing that is valid is it?
probably not... but it would be good to be able to do this.

That would be neat indeed, i was trying to do just that the other day, types to types, no go.

you could fire up delphi or dev studio and create a quick function dll.
pretty easy to do in Delphi, now i don't know about DPB's sdk limitations(if any) tho.

You can't pass types as parameters

You could use the built-in vector types instead.

anyone got/seen a decent tutorial or examples for the vector commands.

Something that shows how to use commands like 'LINEAR INTERPOLATE VECTOR' would be very handy.

somedays i really would enjoy more OOP features in pro
i mean the example is only because thats what i was working on for my BSP format at the time - was the last function i coded.

there are other reasons i'd like to be able to do this - but ho hum, something that can go onto the list of features i'd like to see

passing types as parameters has nothing to do with OOP.

Ogres have layers.

i suppose i could use memory to pass them ... with a pointer as it were, so it'd import the data and declare it at the same time - but is a bit of a bugger to setup.
