Can entities spawn other entities? I could make Dracula turn into a bat or make zombies with limbs that fall off. alternate projectile weapons are possible this way too..

I can't find any commands to spawn something at run time. Can it be done?

that would also be cool for an enemy dropping a key. obviosly if this was db it might be something like this:
if enemyhealth = 0 then
load object "key".x

Ohh... I rember the entity key...

You just replace destroy with the key script (in script bank)

now the entity is a key!


You can use the activateifused's to make entitys hide, and appear.

:activated=0:setalphafade=0,state=0
:activated=1:setalphafade=100

but you need further commands to change back and forth.

Right, but how can you make them appear where the previous entity was destroyed?

Hey I wonder if there's a way to fake it by putting an object as the decal. Or make a thrown weapon that's actually spawning like another character instead of a grenade.
