I just want to point out how AWESOME it is that C# finally broke off of C++ subjectwise that was rather annoying anyway...

I was sure that there would be this topic at least in C++ somewhere in this forum, but a little bit of checking around, nothing so here I am
I'm trying to figure out a good way to display line numbers in my RTB.

here's what I was thinking...
I was going to have a RTB and a standard TextBox right next to each other, I disabled the Textbox and thought that I would display the line numbers in THAT.
here's what it looks like:

Now I have no idea how I would do this, I think it might not be the best idea

any suggestions?

NEVERMIND ZKAT8IT helped me on MSN thanks kitty

I'm still trying to do this myself in java. I had one method that "appeared" to work, but turned out buggy in the end.

and I scrapped that one, and I'm working on another this one SHOULD work. But I had a little accident with the visual studio version, and it didn't save my project but it should be back up in a few, keep your eye on my text editor thread and when I get the textbox done, I'll release it as a DLL and Source, but line numbers is not the end of the line here, i'm going to try and add a bunch of different functionality to it
