FPSC Classic Product Chat / the lightswitch wont WORK!!!!!! ANGRY!

Hi i am new to FPCS... SO this is a stupid question!
How do i get the lightswitch to work! i wonna
turn off the light for the whole level! and just a
singel light!!! plz replay fast!
i this is wrong posted plz dont close!

I all ways where a flame secured armor and my shotgun... Just in case

Set lights as dynamic, rename Light to Light1, place around level

place a light switch on the wall, right click the switch and under "AI Automated" where it says "If used" put the name of the light, which we changed to Light1

then it should work

ok first of all you should read your user guide 8.2 Level Setting.
Anyway to have no light in your game you need to change the AMBIENCE livel to 0 for no light and then change the Ambience red blue and green to 0 but remember to put a light in your game

As for getting a light switch to work first put a light switch on the wall ans make it DYNAMIC by pressing the Y key before you put it on the wall

Then put a light fitting on the wall and make it STATIC by pressing the Y key then place a light by it and make the light DYNAMIC

Now right click on the DYNAMIC light and under General rename light to light1 then under AI SCRIPTS MAIN left click were it says light1.fpi then left click on the little box that appears and find lightoff.fpi left click it and then lift click open then left click Apply changes

Now right click on the switch and under AI AUTOMATED if used type in light1 click Apply changes

ok that should be it if not let me know and ill see if i missed anything out so run your game find the switch and see if it works

Something lee should have done a long time ago.

:activated=1,Plrdistwithin=500:lighton
:activated=0,Plrdistwithin=500:lightoff

something tells me that won't work... but it should.

Rocks to explode, no matter how i change the AI script , or set it to static or dynamic , life, speed,explode=y
nothing make the rocks explode what am I doing wrong

Just place a light marker, then right click it and change 'Static mode' to NO
