Hi,

is it possible to encrypte the files of a ready made project?
If i build a game, always the .x files the waves and the textures will be visible in the folders. If i have spend many hours for modeling my own Models and Entities, than i think its not fair everyone can rip the items :-(
Has anyone a idea to fix this problem?

thx

The best fix is FPSPack, this is a great application that will compress everything into a neat .exe file, also gives options for custom controls, and screen resolution.

You can find it at RASTAWORLD.COM in the download section.

But no one listens to the fact that FPSPack doesn't encrypt or protect...

I guess if you edited the source you could hard code a password and have it so that it only takes the files it needs ATM out, sends them to memory. Then deletes them. But that is too much work.

Your mod has been erased by a signature.

Well, if you have DBP and the enhacement pack then you could try to pack all files the way you like it -with the compiler's options- when compiling the game-engine source code.
