is there any difference in the two different forms of getting fps, are there more things in the c-d or is there more anything, or is it just incase you have 56k modem, you dont have to downlaod a massive file?

Theres no difference between the CD and download version, I think the download version is just down to courtesy...that and if you lose your CD or it's damaged, you always have a backup ready.

I've used both versions, the download version when i was waiting for the CD to arrive, and the CD version when it arrived, I never noticed any difference or extra things.

Krazykris is right, there is not one byte of difference when it comes to size, speed or "stuff". Lee has said himself, and not even Evil Stick can stand up to Lee!

EDIT: flashing snall, I just saw the post you were talking about before, and Evil Stick said no. =ChrisB= said yes, but he was just being.... =ChrisB=

Ya, mostly it's just the reinstall, but the cd and the download, if you compare them bit-to-bit, they are the same.

FPS Creator itself is identical between the download and the CD version. But the CD does contain the DirectX 9 installer, which the download does not.

Coincidence (or something else you changed, or Windows changed, between that period). The files are identical.

Same here.

I'm anticipating the arrival of the CD version so I can have a nice box to put on one of the shelves in my apartment.

How do you get the download link? I ordered it but there is nothing on the website or in my e-mail relating to a download link just a paypal receipt.

By email, and I don't know why yet. If they have a lot of people, you may not get it yet.

Does the packed version come with a printed manual?

Yes, but a cut down manual..just tells you the basics.

The full manual comes in PDF format on the CD

Ye Gods you need good eyes to read that print! I wish they'd just put it into a proper A4 format.
