I have models on turbo squid and haven't made a single cent Then again...that may be because the only model im charging for is my super duper sphere:
http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/273133

Some people must make some money off turbosquid but i haven't made anything good enough to put a price on yet(except the super duper sphere of course)

Im sick of Master Chief soo...ooga booga!!
Explain to me why some people pay money for 3d software? Its not 3d till its been blended. wwww.blender3d.org

Not a bad idea of selling stuff on turbo squid, good thing I'm modelling a mazda MX 5 at the moment which can be availible in high and low poly

I recently got commisioned to do 3 weapons and some textures (about 25 I believe) for $100. $25 for each thing I mentioned. For us brits, that's £57.

Nice sphere, but I think your robbing yourself, you should have it up there for at least 1.58! I would much so like to see a collection!

I use turbo squid to sell my models that don't get used in anything. So far I've been selling for 4 months and made only $72. Some nice pocket money, but unless you have a database of hundreds of high quality models, don't expect to make to much. Oh, and 50% is nothing compared to some other sites that only give 12%. pluse some of those sites try to take the rights to those objects you upload. turbosquid is much prefered

@Ooga Booga:Sad...very very sad. I could make a much better sphere then that. IN FACT, I think I will do just that...err...when I get home.

If you stand not beside me, then I assume you to be my enemy.

Its not easy to sell models that way, when you keep displaying you models and they are getting better, you will start getting emails of people wanting models. In most cases they want them for free, but once in a while some people are willing to pay. This is your opertunity.
