I hav downloaded and installed the trialversion now.... but when i want to start the program, i get the message that the DLL d3d9.dll is missing. what is the problem?

You don't have DirectX 9.0c installed.

Not to be rude, but this problem could have been completely avoided if you had read the system specs. They're not easy to find, but doing a simple Google search could have turned up this page:

I have wondered about this, i'm suprised the requirments aren't easier to find. It took me a good 5 minutes of searching through the website just to find it.
