Guys

I'm making a level, I want to position 1 object on 10 or whatever to different places, etc. I tried do that but it end up position the object on the last one i type in.

So i end up load same object 10 times with different id

But it a waste, i reckon, wondering if there is other way round here.

Also is there any Level/Map editor for DBC that can load TDK_Man's Matedit and Position the objects in real time without doing all the maths (know what i mean??)

Thanks
Anto

if you position the object elsewhere it is elsewhere, you can`t make one box fill the space of twenty in the real world, why would you think it was so on a computer?, if all the boxes had the same id number then how would you tell em apart?, you need to make seperate objects for different locations and handle them seperatley, and there are hundreds of editors, you could even make one for yourself, they aren`t hard to do.

if there is one thing I can NOT tolerate, it`s intolerant people.

Yeh true, but i meant... i have to load "tree.3ds" 10 times with each have own object number..

I just want it to load once, and make 10 different object number.

Sorry if i sounds confusing

other than using MAKE MESH FROM OBJECT and texturing each one then thats what you have to do in DBC.

Wouldn't the easy way just be:

For X=0 to 9

Load Object "tree.3ds",X

Next X

or am I completely wrong?

Total DB n00b

Thank you guys for trying

Andreas 542, what you just type in is exact what i use, i was just asking others in DB if there any better way.. like putting 400 trees in 1 level etc you know what i mean.. and i dun wanna to code 400 objects positions and behaver etc

Just asking if there's better way, but seems this is only way to do it, just like real world.

Thanks guys for helpin
