For the life of me I can't get my character to export in anything that DarkBasic likes! The DirectX viewer that comes with the dx9 SDK loads my animations just fine but when I import them into DarkBasic they fall to pieces.

Many people have this problem. DBC especially has a problem with animations. It doesn't import bone animation for example.

You can try animate your models from within DBC. But it's not very handy.

This is one of the simplest animations I can make. There are no bones or IK chains. Everything is baked into the mesh.

I'm still running the trial with no .3ds support. Would someone please run my code with the same animation in 3d studio format and let me know if it loads? The file is attached.
