Wow, this one was dug up from the grave

Well, now that you mention it, I have been compiling a list of my old models together to put up on our site for download. It won't be FPSC ready like some of mine, but it will be free. The sword I made is alread on the site, and has been downloaded several times it appears.

I have to make sure the texture is right before posting it, and I'll be replacing all the current files (they only include a .X file with a .TGA texture) with a more versatile version (.X, .DTS, .3DS, etc./and .PNG files for the textures) for each model. I'm in the process of really cleaning things up and making them presentable. There are quite a few freebies on the site (forums) already, and I have more planned.

Anyways, I'll stop dragging this response out. The knife will be up for grabs, but not for a few days. The knife will be as-is; no FPSC files with it.

old i looked threw the search phrase i realy needed a melee and i saw author keith and i thought oh its keith hes realy good and so i looked and its been since november and i thoght it would be finished its a cool knife it looks like resident evil combat knife well i hope you finish it soon! by the way do you know how to make a flash light? i realy need one! im so despirate! well its nice to see you again!

Nope, I'm not a scripter I'm afraid, just an artist. It's more of an organization effort with the models than anything. I've got files on two computers in many folders. I'm just consolidating all the models that are read, or near ready to go. I figure there's no point in them just sitting there.

So much going on right now. I've started posting on Garage Games forums as well. That wood texture pack seems to be pretty popular. I'm planning a stonework texture pack next, that'll take a bit longer as I'll most likely be doing those from scratch.

Anyways...

oh all your models are great!well someone good like say Bond1 hes realy good or conjunction entertainment they are good at scripting! you should put it up the model so peeps cant animate or script it!

Either Gamespace or Truespace (I have them both). Gamespace is good for everything I've done so far though. That's an old render anyway; this is what the texture looks like now.

Thanks, Lizz. The blade isn't using any kind of shader, it's just a chrome texture.

looks cool, when I get my copy of FPS Creator, i'll use it...
is there a script to change the texture for afew seconds after it is used, so it goes to a bloody texture for afew seconds, or until the player slashes it in mid-air then it changes back to normal
