"do you have any sugestions for design or total free reign?"

Total free reign for right now, "imagination at work!"

So anything can go, that is, with in "Reason".

I'm also looking for a website template design or have one
designed (food for thought).

Thanks Guys!!

it does not seem to be finished...

I cannot see all the links fully and the images have not been pre-loaded to they do not show at all on a 56K modem. I use a high RES too, IE 6.

Check out http://www.southeastcreations.com thats a site i worked on, and it is the company i work for too...

Soz LLC,

The only reason i said what i did was the fact you called yourself a professional.

No harm meant but Diamondandsphinx.com is not a professional site yet. Unless it is complete you should never promote a website, and if you do make it clear there may be problems.

You caught me at a screaming at PC time

"You can find the main credits by scrolling down this window to the bottom of the poster or you cna click on the Cast and Crew Biographies link to get to all the bios." Right on the front page

The links work for me too, but bl**dy hell the multicoloured picture took soooooooooooooo long its utterly ridiculous, I'm using a 64k connection too which is 3 times the average genuine uk connection speed!

When the pic finally loaded there are some glaring errors in it - the round edges around the actors are Waaaay out. Plus the writing at the bottom leaving the picture and going into the border. And just the fact that some of the colour coordinations are awful!

I don't want to come down to harsh on you, there are some good ideas and its a great starting point Its just like they said, you have things to learn. Take that as a positive please, I'm not out to diss any1s work

Martyn - Nice looking site. If I HAD to offer constructive criticism it would be:
A: The faded graphics and colours look lovely, but kinda caused me eyestrain if I tried to read it
B: The Flash intro is nicely designed but had the usual niggle of being kinda pointless, just there for show and stopping people seeing the site content straight away. Why not make a smaller flash animation / logo etc and intergrate them with your actual page?
C: The Flash Intro page should automatically detect if users don't have flash intalled and skip the page itself. Its an easy script but if you want it email me
D: You can't click on the links in the scrolling ticker in browsers other than IE

But thats all really - its a good, solid site

Coming Soon! Kangaroo2 Studio... wait and quiver with anticipation! lol

Not to pee' on any posts (or parades for that matter), but
I didn't think asking for a Logo Design would be...well
so upsetting to others, I'm sorry if anyone has been offended
in the post that I started as a simple request for a
company logo design.

I hope everybody can play nice in MY 'sandbox' or I just
might have to pee' in that!!

Thanks Guys!! for you sense of humor!!

Futuristic, (3d space, puzzle, FX-illusions, almost magical)

white or black background maybe..?

1st Color RGB: 122, 190, 238
" " Hex: 7ABEEE
" " CMYK: 60 5 0 0

2nd Color RGB: 218, 214, 243
" " Hex: DAD6F3
" " CMYK: 11 13 0 0

These are just preliminary mind you, for a starting point,
other shades could/will be added as needed to balance the
spectrum and design as needed. (free hand)

Thanks for you interest indi!

Right now, I don't have anything up or anything I could
show ya, but I'll look around on the web and see if I can
find a relative "like-ness" of what I'm after.

I'll get back at ya, or post something here.

Thanks

The flash intro was done by a contractor, we needed to test them, so how better than to do an intro?

Ok well i started with space theme and it was kinda looking good but It didnt grab me.

I think the kitche space look didnt pull any strings.

I then thought about a steel panel thing for a millisecond inbetween.

but..

I then proceded to make another one with a more magic feel.

I thought a summoned seahorse skeleton from a herodian clay lamp with the lamp side removed and the other side duplicated to create a ancient jar would do the trick.

I chose rust and turquoise colours to give it a scheme that doesnt get boring fast and has a regal edge to pull the idea closer to a contemporary feel yet still ancient magic.

bla bla artspeak

here is the jpg sample

I can send you the master doc in psd form if u like this design.

it was made with 72dpi in mind so u may find it will print well but small.

if u resize it then you will have to alter the size parameter in the layer effects.

I do think the lamp is a bit big, maybe change the arrangement
same componets: smaller lamp, different text (black),
with and without lamp, picture on the left side then the
text on the right...

These are some things I might have to experiment with
but overall it's a start to a good logo, I think anyway!

Thanks for the time and your art talent indi!!
