If you can guess the car make and model, I am on the right track, today its just a render for one reason, my PC is really stressing me out, I've been working on this about the same time as the black guy, because he's gonna drive it, but only picked bits at it, the render isn't too good, I would play with the shaders but, again, my irritating PC.

So here's the render

thanks,
I know theres a lack of detail, but thank satan, god, buddha allah or whoever for bump and displacement maps so really it'll be better to add them as that, plus its for an animation, don't wanna slow the render times too much

It's dark and distorted in render, but the rest looks great!

Looking good, nice to see something other than human-type models coming from the world of Seppuku Arts.

im guessing its the mazda mx-5, the 1st render looks pretty bad imo, maybe make a better scene? or remove 100 layers of polish , it looks cool in the viewports tho

i agree with Dark Coder i dont really like the render its too noisy and polished but the model itself is top quality good luck in the final render.

yey 1/3 people got it right, its a mazda mx 5 pats Dark coder on the back Yeh I thought the render was crap, was trying new things with it to suit it, but then my PC started being a pain in the arse, so I thought bugger it use it until it behaves , maybe a plain old soft light render will work just fine, right?

Thanks, I based my learning around character models hence the workload of them, but now I'm onto other things

So is the car coming along? I'd offer help but I don't have much experience with modeling or texturing so I couldn't help much. If you think of anything I might be able to help with though, I'd be glad to do it.

it is still being worked on, but for me to work on it, I need my PC to behave, I would reinstall windows, but I'm waiting to get paid so I can buy some CDRs to back up all my stuff on. I've been only able to work on my 3D when my PC is having a good moment

Is it me or are complements repeating itself lol.

Thanks again dude, it will gradually, at the moment, these are the things I'm juggling
Karate (Grading in 3 weeks)
A level work (Most important thing, tis me qualifications)
Satuday Job (MONEY!!!)
Modelling (Black guy + MX 5)
Learning Visual Basic (Started today, pretty easy)
Learning Visual C++ (Just enough to work with SDK's like torque, would be nice to have Ronin coded in Torque )
Snooker (I gotta do something socialable with my friends outside of 6th form )

Pretty packed, so, the rate of this is unpredictable, plus I can't wait either, I'm so glad I stopped learn DBP for 3D modelling

I see...and yes the compliments are repeating, but what else am I to do? I don't have many suggestions really, except to keep plowing forward

Thanks for the comments
