Im a big fan of the old quest simon the sorcerer , when the 3d version of simon came out to the pc it was pretty bad , specially because of the graphics , so ive decided to recreate the character in 3d , when i draw the character i wanted it to be with some anime touches , and the refrence images went pretty well , anyway so far ive completed the head , the hat and ponytail is just temp , i want to twick the head a little bit , ive added those just so u could get a good idea of what im about to create , so what do u think so far????

Hey, nice start!
I've been a good fan of the series myself as well, I havent played a 3D version though, but listening to you I'm guessing thats just as well. When you ask what I think so far I'm not quite sure if you're asking for comments/critiques? but I guess pointing some things out will not harm anyone.

First there are some objective problems: the ears looks to be too high on the head, so I think perhaps you would want to lowever them a bit to fit somewhere between the eyes and the nosetip.
His jawbone is places a bit too far to the back of his head, which looks quite odd.. so you might wanto look into that as well.. Often the jaw brakes to go upwards at the same height at the mouth, so perhaps you should try lowevering that a bit. Finally his nosebone seems to be a bit too long, as it goes obove the eyebrows.

Alright, that was the first part. Now I want you to know that this model is very good, you've placed points correctly and its a very clean and great looking model. There is one thing I'm wondering a bit about though: the details around the eyes and mouth. unless you're planing to animate the eyelids and mouth, I think you can save quite a few triangles by removing most of the circles around it.

Now for the subjective suggestions: These are just suggestions as the image of how you see Simon, might be quite different from how I see him. I know you're looking for a anime-ish style, but the face looks a bit too "cold" a bit too much of the cool guy or badguy in it. ways this may be changed are making his head shape a bit rounder while still keeping the anime feel, this includes making the chin a bit broader.

In any case, its your interpretation of the character so anything you do is fine.

Overall this is looking excellent, and I'm looking forward to seing it completed in the future.

If you dont want me to give comments/critiques in the future, please state so in your post, I guess that shouldnt be a need to do so.. but I love to get C/C myself, and love to help where I can.

Keep up the good work

looks great so far, i agree with johnny the ears are a bit far back and high up. im guessing you did this to compensate for the hat. Also either just pull the jaw down or the chin up. Also something johnny didnt say is that the hat kind of looks like someone cut off the top of his head and put a hat on there. what im saying i that theres an edge where the hat meets the head that is going the wrong way. Dont get me wrong the heads looking wonderful, i cant wait to see the finished model
