Wondering, how would one start human shape modeling? I'm lost

goggle will become your best friend as you start modeling more complex items (especially organics)...

There are several different ways to model organics (organics being people, animals, living things,etc...) and you may have to experiment with which technique works best for you....

Also, certain techniques may not be available to your 3-d program, not being a wings user I cannot say which are accessable...

Whichever technique you use, the best way to start learning to model people is to use real people as blueprints or background images, any one (not using poser) that can model people on the fly I bow to your abilities...

The attached picture will help you to develop the correct anatomical proportions which is a must to learn in the beginning... Don't start off with bad habits like building people that are anatomical incorrect, this will hamper your ability to get good results down the road and will severely distort animations...

The picture is only a front/back view so it's not great - having a front and side profile would be better...

7-8 heads tall, space for 5 eyes side to side on face, eyes half way between top and bottom of face....waist\elbow 3 heads down from top of body...I know the drill
