I need help to animate a sword in first person view like in The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind for DBPro. I cant seem to set the right key frames, and everytime I attempted, the program just doesnt do the command. Can anybody make an animation of stabbing or slashing for me?(The sword is on the right side of the screen).

I'm sorry to say this but, this is not the right place to post this question. Depending on what version of DB your using, please go to one of the respective boards.

Example:
Dog AI
Frames 1-29 - Walking
Frames 30-60 - Attacking

The thing is, is that i dont have a animation. I dont know how to make one from a basic 3d model using the program. The model I am using is "SWORD5.X" from the DB browser. It's like having a model with no animation set to it, and i have to rearrange the model and set frames, but once again, I dont know how to do that, could someone please make one for me like the way I said in my first post???(or at least give a good explanation on how to do it myself).

Thanks

this is this right board foo,

to do a sword anim you could do it in a 3d modelling package which is the best option as it saves tonnes of code and you can view/edit it in a 3d view and all sorts, but it would require you to learn a 3d modelling program which would take a while, so you could find someone to make a sword anim, or try to learn a 3d modelling package that does animation and is suited for use in dbc/dbp milkshape would be your best bet, or you could code a basic sword swing in db which maybe very painstaking and fiddeley.

[edit] just realised this is code snippest board, you posted this in the wrong board foo
