I would like to find out why, my computer will not run this program. All I see is the main screen with the toolbars and then it errors out with a " display hardware not supported". I have a new computer with tons of popwer and a compatible graphics card. Has anyone else had this problem?

How bout you post your machine's specs... that would help.

Well, i've never had a problem such as yours Dadman..I was going to suggest installing direct X 9.0c, but Harry Harrison already has.

You should also check your graphics drivers are upto date, actually just make sure all your drivers are upto date

This error comes up when you don't have direct x support installed. I speak from personal experience here. It could be a driver issue, or something else, but yeah, more info on your hardware would be helpful. Please be as complete as possible.

I have a new computer. How updated does the drivers need to be?
I have a Pentium 4, 3.4 gig hardrive, 1 gig ram, 128mb Nvidia G-force 5200 video card. I work in 3d Studio max, Bryce, and Poser. I have no issues with anything when it comes to speed or drivers with these other programs, and trust me, they will push the limits of this computer when rendering.

If you don't like the way I drive, then stay off the sidewalk.
