Some nice stuff here.

My tip, Ooga booga to win

The Crazy - you need to have some more actiony shots, that would be cool.

I cant be BOTHERED making any more amendments to the model so here she is, in her full rendered glory.

Have a good comp! This could be a good fixture!

hey...how do you make such pretty renders? I know it requires extra software but I don't know what software that would be...(googling it in a moment)

@Big Add, or should I now say, Magical Me, I see you got the earth spinning nice job (Whats with the account change?)

@Insanity Complex

Rendering can require extra software, but isn't always free, but are usually app biased like

Povray -> 3DCanvas
Renderman -> 3DS Max + Maya
Yafray -> Blender
Maxwell-> Cinema 4D, Max and Maya (Maybe others?)

But flashy renders can be done on a general ray tracer(renderer), which come with most 3D apps. You don't need some with special features, What app do you use? Maybe I could explain it better if I knew

I got YafRay and it works with Wings 3D but apparently I need DX9 for it as well...would get DX9 but it would take approx 3 hours. Stupid computer.

I tried YafRay but i didn't really like it so im sticking with the blender internal renderer. Even tho ive seen amazing renders with Yafray. Also if you are using YafRay you have to pack a lunch lol it takes forever to render anything of quality. And you have to code in POVray so i gave up on that pretty fast. :p

When I use YafRay it gives me an error when I try to render with it INSIDE of Wings 3D and when I open the .exe form of it, it gives me a stupid .dll error...

I've tried using Yafray with Cinema 4D but doesn't work, I see you're using wings, thats a bugger, heres a tip, if you want flashy renders, download the demo of Cinema 4D 9.5, export it into that and play with the renderer for stills, you can render in the editor, and they don't have water marks either, but I would use Blender for animation renders.

Hey, just use blender! it comes with Yafray, and the internal renderer is almost as good. Yeah, it doesnt have all the bells and whistles like full GI and caustics etc, but it does have various workarounds like Ambient Occlusion and some nice soft shadow settings that can really make a render nice!

If you want help with blender rendering, feel free to ask me cause its all i use

If you are only importing models and rendering, the ram hopefully won't effect it

it will effect rendering though. To render fast you need a good processor and lotsa ram, although, you can render anything on any system becuase its all software based. Its just a matter of time really.

@Greenlig, if you are rendering stills an extra five minutes shouldn't harm you, all that does is really effect the render speed, its not as if he's going to have 16x16 antialias with loads of lights with area shadows with HDRI, radiosity and caustics on a high resolution with super high poly models is he

Look at it this way, in the front it could open up to drop bombs, it could also receive fuel in the back.

[EDIT] will be getting rid of crease tonight anyway...lol
