No.

DBC itself is interpreter-based, and the only way (without going and generating EXEs manually) would be your own, long chain of 'IF-THEN's.

And an interpreter, running on an interpreter, is not so good.

The other way would be to write your own "proper" compiler, which would be kind of pointless seeing as you're using this language in the first place.

DBC is, by design, a homebrew games compiler, not a business application maker.

For the love of God...
You gave us, what 25 minutes to reply? It's not a chat-room, it's a forum! You shouldn't expect an immediate response; that's what IRC is for, you should try that. Eum... on second thoughts, please don't

Anyways, like blanky said - what you're asking for is impossible. You could write an exe that parsed certain commands in DBC and acted appropiately and then package this exe with the code. I guess that'd work.

Yes, create it in C++. Give up on Darkbasic now, it's too difficult. And the C++ forums are so cool. They answer any question you ask, and really fast. And they like people who post loads of threads. I'd do it right now.

Dodic, please slow down on the posting.

You can make .exe's with DB, but not with the 'Lite' version. Once you upgrade, you can make .exe's.

Please don't tell people to go to your forum - people keep trying to make people go to their forums here, and everyone is bored of it. We like this forum.

Your super-fast posting is annoying people. When people tell you to give up on DarkBasic, it's because they want you to stop posting so fast. This is a slower forum, more relaxed.

As for cracks for programs - it happens. It's unfortunate. But it happens. There are millions of dollars put into copy protection every year - and university degrees are based on making them better. But the chances of you on your own coming up with better protection are very very small. Do not worry about copy protection - it's not something we need to worry about. You are doing your bit by buying DarkBasic legitimately.

So, to sum up:

Slow down your posts.
Don't advertise your forum too loudly.
Don't worry about copy protection.

Lastly - welcome to DarkBasic and good luck with your projects.

I think he means writing what you're asking for in Darkbasic is too hard.
And notice the 'edit post' button by your posts? Have an experiment with that!

Umm.. sorry, I couldn't make sense of that.
I was suggesting that instead of posting 2/3/4 messages in a row, you could edit your message instead, keeping it to 1 reply

Yes Dodic - I've read ALL of your posts here. There's a lot of them.

Please - slow down. People will be more likely to help if you slow down.
