Hey i was just wondering today whether TGC will bring out any other genre creators, lik RPGCreator or RTSCreator or even MMPORPGCreator. Well the last one would be very hard and i don't ecpect it to happen. but yea it would be cool to get other Genres.

RPGcreator would be pretty easy. Use grid base dungeon building. and you can select what damage different weapons do and what on armour gives. RTS creator would again be pretty easy, noting fancy like 3D RTS but like AoE 2.

I forgot to mention last time, it would be cool to have a TPScreator. Third person shooter. (like tomb raider)

It would also be neat if they could compile all of your ideas into one program and call it The Game Creator.

I can see some good things here, like a RPG creator or a 3rd Person Shooter. But we must be realistic here: MMORPG Creator? Based on FPSC? If FPSC has limitations in terms of size, can you imagine what a MMORPG would be?

A MMORPG or even a more simple MMO is another league. 30 million in development should say something about it.

A the software called The Game Creator is called DBPro, the difference is really the coding part.

TGC may have found a niche with FPSC, but I would only buy another kind of "insert game type here" Creator with some severe quality improvements when comparing to FPSC.

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

MMORPG Creator easy as FPS creator = www.realmcrafter.com its also arround same price! ive beta it for some time and it has many effects liek weather systems, import your own stuff, no codding needed, AI, waypoints, questing, client and server creation, its own map editor, decal editor, light mapping, Wind and moving trees... and much more!

What you are saying is that FPSC is to FPS games like Realmcrafter is to MMORPG.

And we agree, but what are the results? There are more MMORPG engines out there, like there are more game engines that allow you to make FPS games, what are their costs? So, when we compare price/quality, you'll find that 50 or 55 bucks offers the same type of results. Which is expected.

I am not saying that TGC does not have the ability to pull out such a thing, quite the opposite. Still and since I'm a 100% TGC customer in terms of authoring software, I would largely prefer that the focus would be on quality, and I don't believe it's possible to achieve high quality standards with a 50$ product. I hope I'm wrong.

From a rating from 1 to 10, what would you rate FPSC, then Realm Crafter?

It really depends on what we are comparing it to.

Being 10 a custom developed professional engine, I would give 3 or 4 to both.
