My free gun - OCTOPUS

does anyone know how to create trail of smoke for rockets in FPS?
I'm also having troubles with explosions: when I fire multiple rockets very fast, only few of them explode when they hit something... why don't they all explode?
Is there some script for smoke and explosions I can change or what?

I don't think the smoke trail ever got resolved. But I could be wrong.

I can't find it in the Entity list!!

Iextracted everything to the gamecode/newguns/octopus folder, as per the file patsh, but I can't find it in the list!!?

nice, tho i had to remove the flak thing in the gunspec

flak ww2/bazooka

it caused an error exactly after i shot a bullet

most likely because i didnt put it in the folder you specified

the thing u need to be able to add it

download the octopus gun at http://fps-files.net, includes the file you need to use the gun

I don't have time for making entity model.

I am working on making water, does anybody
know how to make transparency in segment.

see picture, every time when I put alpha in
picture for segment, FPS makes it 16bit alpha in DDS file.
Is it possible to create 32bit alpha (transparency) in picture?

ALL IS FREE for use in your games.
In future, maybe, I'll make a new full pack for sale.

Yes, use true black.
That makes a segment completely transparent.
For a filtered transparent effect, I don't know.
Here's an example.
Use this texture for a floor segment for unbreakable glass floors.
It's all the help I can give you on that.

thanks for this manofart. but for some reason when i pick up the gun there is no ammo number in corner and it doesent hurt enemys at all. got an answer? once again thanks for this bro

Or, right click on the gun after you have placed it and change the ammo quantity (last field on the list)

how did you get the texture to work? i made a texture and i tried to put it on the colt 45, i replaced the dds files with new ones, it appeared white ingame. how do i get it to use the texture?

My games don't have a name!
