I put set volume 1000 in my game and it sounds no different from 100, can somone help? (I can hear both if I turn up volume loud enough)

Try starting with a volume of 0 and increasing it. There is only a certain point beyond which it's at the limit anyway and anything extra has no effect.

I think you can choose your volume between 0 and 100. Isn't that in the help?
