If FPS Creator was like/almost like the Unreal Engine, you could make killer games!

True, but it wouldn't cost 50 bucks would it?

And remember, half of the game is your ability to make a good game, not the engine.

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

Well, that's only half true. The engine accounts for alot. I can't very well make a scary game in the dark, if the engine doesn't allow for flashlights (hint hint).

If FPSC had save/load and a bit more work on Multiplayer games it'd be better then Unreal already. Unreal is NOT a good engine, if you really want something super nice to compare to use Valve's HL/CS/DOD-Source Engine.

Quite - its the other half he's talking about.

Leave alone Valve, comparing FPSC to Unreal engine is a joke - thats really not a serious statement at an indie game engine forum - sorry. FPSC will never be anything like a game making tool of that professionalism - ever.

The Unreal Engine's URL? Tell me, do you have upwards of a few hundred thousand dollars? Didn't think so. The Unreal engine is made by Epic Games, and licensing it will surely be incredibly expensive. So, unless you have really deep pockets I wouldn't even bother.

If you don't sell Unreal Engine-based stuff, you can just release the code and then any old sod with an Unreal-based game can compile it with UCC.

(Unreal Tournament, Unreal II, XIII, Pariah, etc..)
