FPSPack 2.2 has been released.

This release addresses the Key Generator feature. If an end-user uses a correct key for registration, the key is saved and the user will not have to enter the key each time to play the game. Plus the key is checked and validated during each use.

Remember, the KeyGen feature is only an option in FPSPack and not a requirement. You can still use FPSPack without the need of using registration keys. This option needs to be enabled in the options section to be able to use it.

To get it, either use the live-update feature from within any prior version of FPSPack, or visit http://www.rastaworld.com and see the downloads section.

What about limitations? Like 30 days or something like that.

At the time, its hard to interface with FPSC on a time limitation. I tried various things. The only thing that seemed to work well was a timed play, like 10 mins, then it shut down the game. But this could also cause a corrupt game because it kills it in gameplay.

A timelimit in days may be possible, but then the issue of clock rollback can happen and other stuff. But I will look into it.

For now, until something is developed, the standard would be to create a playable DEMO for download, and have a Full Keyed version for sale which would also be downloadble to the paid individual.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
This is a very nice application. Great interface
easy to navigate. Thank you for continuing the
development on it.

This is incredible, RastaMan! Keep up the excellent work!

I've got a slight inconsistiency to report. In the shareware Project Settings tab, hitting "Generate Random Seed" makes a five-digit number. However, when typing numbers in manually, it's limited to four digits. It's no big deal at all, but I thought I should let you know this, just in case it was unintended.

Again, keep up the good work, and thanks again!

I know you could make a option how many times the game can be played , Like some trial use ex adobe albums. So the user has to buy the game if he is going to use it more then ex. 7 times.
please rastaman post if you see my message. ps: great work

Thank you for the great program!!!
There is only one problem I found. When you do not enter correct or no key when starting your packed game, program exits nonstandard way with error.

I would like to make custom skins for FPSPack. Do I need Delphi for packing .skn files? Do you have some special templates for your program?
Thanks.

RastaMan,

I'd like to start off by saying that FpsPack is one of the greatest 3rd party applications I've seen for FPSC. (Thank you)

1. Not to take any credit away from your work, But I'd like to know if there is a way to change the .exe icon for our games?

2. If there is would you allow it? I don't want to do anything that is not approved by you.

Thank you for your time. Have a great day.

@ Dog:
You can try using ResHack, Restorator or something along thoses lines to change the icon. I have no problem with that.

@ Rockdrala: MP3 music is already supported. But flash is not.
