Hi, I just got my modeler back up and working today and I've been experimenting around with some ideas. You see, in the hopefuly near future, I plan to make a Zelda type action adventure game, and I've had a few different ideas of how the main sword should look. This is my favorite model and I'm curious to see what people think of it.

It has 126 faces, and it's unlikely there will be many points in the game where there will be very close-up shots of it.

I think I'm going to call it the Chronicle Sword, but I'm not sure.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

yea the blade looks nice and reflecivey, but the handle could be better as its seems rather short and anyone wanting to hold it with 2 hands may need a few plasters.

Alright, here's the improved sword model. It has a longer handle like dark coder suggested, and improved textures. I've also managed to keep the poly count at 126

Insanity Complex, your swords aren't bad, they just need to be lower poly.

The outline around the blade isn't part of the swords blade; it's actually an outline of the blade, which I added because it keeps the sword from looking at all mundane.

Looks good, reminds me of a Roman Gladius.

Okay, well I've started making other models for this game as well, and I loaded them into dbc where they looked exactly like I wanted them to. But then I tried loading them into dbpro where I planed to make the game, and saddly the textures came out blurry and horrible and not sharp and sexy like they were in dbc... I also wasn't able to use the set object command the same way I did in dbc... ah oh well. I'll figure it out (or pull all my hair out trying).
