Here's a little model viewer that I've been working on since yesterday.

It uses the DB Windows Gui I'm developing, which allows Windows controls to be placed in DB apps. It will be in my Visual DarkBasic (coming soon) whivh will allow you to create "forms" on screen then export the DB code.

Anyway, back to the viewer.

It has a Truespace style rotation system (LMB = Y, RMB = X, BMB = Z), plus:

- Ability to overlay wireframe mesh onto textured object
- Cull wireframe to not show internal mesh
- Switch on / off lights
- Windows GUI!
- (Hopefully) CSG - will process an X file to make it faster by removing overlapping faces (useful for CShop -> BSP conversion)
- Save objects
- Easily browse for an object
- Display limb names plus screen indicators

wow, that looks cool, i think the main problems with most model viewers i see made in dark basic is the speed, hope your overcomes that ^_^ from the feature descriptions this is gonna be interesting!

Well, it's very fast on my PC. No slowdown as yet at all, and I've loaded really complex models.

Tomorrow I'll add sliders for movement speed and maybe even a colour picker for the mesh!

No, but they are very good fakes

I've now added object naimation and saving objects. CSG soon, then slider controls.

I've also started a little test for making an IDE with draggable objects. It's working well.
