although you can make a function in a dba file, add it to a keywords ini file, then just include that dba file in any projects you want to use that function in.

It could be possible to code a c/c++ compiler in dbp, and then write a dll in your new compiler, but wouldn't that be crazy, using a BASIC-like program written in c++ to code a c++ compiler that makes dlls for itself.
