Hey everyone, i've been working on this for a while now, so i thought i'd post a WIP. The geometry is finished, so now i'm working on the texturing.

its 3058 polys, the eyes are seperate objects, and could proberbly lose some faces.

one 1024^ map.

comments/crits please!

Looks good man, keep it up. But I'd tweak the texture, let me be more specific.

If shes a spy, a bright pink jumpsuit isnt the best disguise? But other than that, it really looks good. I'm looking forward to the finished model. What's it for?

Nice work so far. The finished texture will make all the difference and its a good start to floodfill and work on the shading first before going on to details.

Looks sweet, i have to agree about the pink tho. Unless she is hiding in a mall, she would do beter with a metallic grey, or a dark green maybe. I especially lke the backpack texture. Good work!

lol, i didn't think of the problems of being bright pink! but to be honest, joh's right, its a flood fill, i keep a grey scale layer seperate which i use for details, so it'll end up much darker.

either way, if it still looks faintly rediculous, i can always change the colour layer

Looks great, the face however is a bit masculine, reminds me of the female tennis player on the last olympics, but thats my only crit, my anatomy is crap, but I would say that looks pretty kewl dude

I'd have to agree with Seppuku. The head looks like that of a crossdressing spy man. No offence. I think the problem is somewere around the mouth.

define the cheek bones a little bit more and pull the chin up and curve it a little more and she will look more like a girl.

about the texture... Will she be infiltrating the pansie fields? victorias secret?

Yes the shape of the head would seem rather masculine but thats one of the things about this model that appeals to me (that does not sound right..) It strays away from stereotypical designs. Even the body has a little odd proportions, which skews the entire model to be a bit more realistic - or "average person on the street". But at the end of the day, one needs to see the entire package. The textured facial features, etc. After there are many women who have masculine features and viceversa.

As for the pink suit. It still can work, depending on the entire theme. Think Cate Archer not Sam Fisher.

hi all, i've worked a bit more on the texture, and she's no longer to lurid.

i'm definately going to have to adjust the face a bit, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Ooga Booga wins the unannounced "recolour the spandex" competetion.

I've got to go and look round leeds city centre in a bit with my seminar, so i'll do some more work and post after that.
