Ok this model started out for the comp, but quickly i became obsessed with it, and Ive been flat strap for about 16 hours straight doing it. This one will turn out nicely! So here she is at the mo.

When I say almost nudity, i mean i've modeled breasts, and this may cause some offence. To this end, i have only rendered the top half of her chest, so you miss the rest

Looking good man! Any chance you could erm...give me a few tips, as it sounds like you box model a lot and I assume that's how you did this one. I know we're using different programs but it should be easy to apply...

But it's looking great! Can't wait to see it finished.

Nice work. I like her expression in the second pic. "Where are my clothes? Where did my hair go?"...

There are some creases at the mouth corners and nostrils. Are those intentional or from subdivision?

Lol, yer, her expression is a bit of 'why are you modelling me naked greenlig?? Dont put that camera there!!'

Insanity, I usually model using the box technique, but for this i decided to go vert by vert. If you need help, or have questions with box modelling though, fire away, cause im eager to help

The hair was just a placeholder till i master curve paths.

Ive done some more to her too! will post update in a sec.

If I'm box modeling, and I smooth twice(will have pictures tonight) Then I grab the edges running just below the middle of the object(after scaling into a more head form) and move them along the x-axis to get a head shape, how could I go about making a mouth, a nose, and ears? (already got the eyes figured out)

Usually, i delete half of the model along the axis of symmetry, and just model 1 half and duplicate it. That will save you time and effort. Do you know how to use edge-loops or a knife tool? If tou do, all you really do is cut out the mouth shape, and make a lot of loops around it with the edge tool. Its kindof hard to explain.

Hope that helped...although i know it wasnt well explained - waiting for images

I never taught myself to box model, maybe I should, its more beneficial than polygon modelling

My grandma, of all people, just pointed out several flaws...im not sure if i agree, but she recons the cleavage is wrong. Since Emily isnt wearing a bra, i think it is almost correct. I havent used any references, so im just really going on memory here.

Also, the ear need working. Way too big.

Nose needs reworking, possibly replacing the verts.

And the arms need finishing lol, shoulders as well.

Just some crits...for me!

thats some nice work, as its obviously meant to be stylised, the only crits i have are that you need more verts at the corners of the mouth, it looks like it all goes to one vert at the end, the ear needs more work, even for a stylised character, and the skin looks a bit... odd, its too bumpy.

great work tho, and a really nice render.

hey dude, looking better, about the flaws, it's still good in 3Dworld mag, I've seen worse, if you're lucky you might win a prize, will be small, its always a DVD thats useful to 3Dmodellers

Yeah bigadd your right with the eyes and the Shirt not falling properly off the boobs. Lol my sister said it looked like she was in a 'wet-shirt' competition.

Thanks for the comments! I'll work on her some more later. I move house this weekend, so i dont know how often i'll get to the net now which is a pity.

Have fun moving house. If you sort out that skin colour a bit, it does make it a whole load better.. If u compare the colours in the two images, the last one realy does give it a bit more lift and makes it look a bit more organic.

Skin is built up of layers of many different colours... to give it that sort of depth:
