Hi,

I have a bunch of 3D Models (in many formats) that I have purchased in the past.

How much would you charge per model to make it importable and working in FPSCreator? How much for static objects like a chair compared to animated objects? Most of the animated objects are already animated, but I am assuming they need to be tweaked for FPSC.

Thanks!

All depends on the number of polys.

I will do static for .02 cents a polygon.
For animated, .01 cents per poly per frame.

I think he's willing to pay, not just for conversion from one format to another but also to get it in fpsc all nice and working and stuff. ie textures, animation etc.

I'll do EVERYTHING for free, but I'll reserve the right to use the models in my games. Actually, I won't be able to do things animated, but everything else I'll do FREE!

Yes, they are all 3rd party. I purchased a bunch from Marlin Studios (www.marlinstudios.com) Turbosquid and 3DCafe as well as independent modellers.

I have no idea if I am able to "resell" the models, I would have to check the documentation.

And yes, I want them to be working in FPSC without any glitches. The reason I'd rather pay someone to do this than to pursue it myself is simply a matter of time and patients. I have little of both.

BTW- I am the producer of a film production company. I am hoping to use FPSC as a media add-on to a film in development. As a bonus on the DVD - pop it into your PC and play a decent FPS based on the movie.

ooh, thats a good idea! I'll do it if you cna put my name somewhere in the credits!Thats all the pay I need! Of course the models may not be glitch free, and if not, I'll do what I can, and help you find someone that can do better then I, and you don't need to pay me (duh). Just out of ceriousity, what movie are you developing, if any right now?

You guys sound like you are into the juice

Off topic:

www.webmercialsvideo.com is the business end.

Go here and click on "The Reckoning"

http://www.alteredegosproductions.com/projects.htm

You can download two movies from www.alteredegosproductions.com - one is a short, the other is full.

I think combining two mediums would be pretty cool. And what a better add on to a DVD than a game.
