Hello,
Well let me tell your a story, I downloaded FPS and had nothing but a pain in the a** with it. So I uninstall it and waited for the CD to get to me. It did today, so I install it and made a one room, one gun and one bad guy. tested it and then build an exe.
That worked fine. Went to eat and came back and try one of the tutorials that came with FPS. BANG, when I tryed to test run the tutorial I get this (see download).
I hope some one can help.
Thank You

Ok, when you are reading this post, look the the bottom. You will see a button labeled "Top". Click that. Then look for this post near the "Top" of the list of topics labeled:

Error - Extra Debug Info: 0 0

There should be a folder icon with a green arrow on it pointing up. This is a "sticky" topic so it will always be on the top of the list.

Hope that helps.

I had this problem and deleted all the relevant files as you have, then ran a program called CCleaner someone recommended to me.

It has the option of finding orphan files in the registry and deleting them (as well as other stuff, just go to the website if your interested, it's free).

It allows you to back up your registry in case something goes wrong.

Worked for me, anyway.
