Hey all,
i'm coming here to show you in my opinion, the most revolutionary 3D software, TrueSpace 7. It is now in pre-realease, where you can buy it for 100$ less. The most revolutionary features are the Real-Time Visual, the third-gen interface and the Online Collaboration. Check by yourself on Caligari. Also, there's the first TrueSpace 7 videos. The only problem is his price. (Upgrade from 6.6, 300$)

The first video is amazing, and if I know Caligari as I think
you should wait a year and the price will go way down.

plus the biggest problem with trueSpace and Caligari is the fact
that the community is dead, most links are 404 and the tutorials
are very old or not working at all.

Hello,

Beware of Caligari. It's a known fact, that they produce a buggy software. I would strongly advice you to try a demo first and to wait what others say on their forums.

Have a nice day,

Tomaz

*vough* Boolean bug* sorry, there are still bugs in Caligari products, but the videos are impressive, render time must be impressive Well I'm still a C4D dude, I wonder if any of the other companies will try it out, I doubt it, but probaly use the technology to augment render times perhaps

Caligari products have tons of problems, wierd undo, poor uv,
lack of modeling tools ect, but their product are easy to learn
and cheap (give trueSpace 7 a year, it will cost $300 on a sale),
that is why they still have people that buy it, as for trueSpace 7,
I will wait for a lot of stuff, the addons (7.1, 7.2 ect), the
demo ect.

I might buy ts5.2 soon, so I would have some sort of render & animation tool.
