The attached model is in 3DS format, exported from Wings. When I load it into GameSpace Lite to export it as X, I get a 1K X file with virtually no info in it. Is nayone else able to generate an X file from this model for me?

It's my own model, so there are no copyright issues. I've zipped up the wings, 3DS and failed X files. There's also a DBPro project to view the model as it should be.

Thanks in advance!

This possibly isn't the answer you want, but I'd recommend finding a copy of lithunwrap 1.2 and using that as your exporter-middleman. Save the object in Wings3D as a obj file, load it into lithunwrap and export as .x from there.

Is that any good? I've no idea if your textures or scale are correct - .3DS always come in to my version of Max reeeeeally tiny, so I scaled it up.

It's not 1k, at least

Thank you, that seems to work just fine! I had to reapply the texture, it was looking for a PNG. Maybe it's my application that has problems!

I also reinstalled GameSpace Lite and it seems to be better now. I still had to do a lot of messing to get it right.

Oops, no - my exporter exports the textures as .pngs by default. It's what I use. Completely forgot about that - not sure what I'd have set it to though, as I didn't know what you were using

Glad it worked though.
