if you have photoshop you can go to the nvidia website and get there dds plugin, i believe it also works with paint shop pro


amd athlon xp 2600+,1280mb,FX 5200 128mb,200gb,xp pro sp2

If you have other software, you could check DirectX SDK. There's and editor or converter (not sure which one) in the tools.

OK, thanks, I already found Microsofts DxTex (of DirectX SDK), which is poor but suitable.

gimp has a dds plugin. both gimp and the plugin are free downloads. more info at http://www.gimp.org
