Okay, I admit to being a NewB, but arent we all at some point, now my questions are these...
How do you create your own segmants with your own textures and what are the specs for these, example height limit? texture limit?? does the texture need to be for example 64x64 and in what format?

Now the models, do you create your own as a .x format? if so then what are the dimension limits, also what are the texture limits/dimensions and what format??

I have scanned through the manual and havent found any information on all this..
The dvd case also shows a building with a slanted roof as I believe, but when you go through a small tut on creating your 1st game you get the impression that all you can create is a flat ceiling!

Back to the segmants,I noticed a utility called segmant editor, is this the only way to do user defined segmants?

I noticed also some user done models like the zombie from half-life but doesnt seem to be in a .x format so how was this done in whatever format fpsc knows??

I mean really the manual should have been alot better and somebody who has aquired the full knowledge of using this games creator should make some better tutorials, although really it shouldnt have been necessary to jump onto a forum to find these very important answers..

You can use the segment editor, but it's buggy and unstable.
