@uman: It exists yes... when you move, you are moving the camera.

@Reuben: Where did you read that mate? I don't recall reading anything about camera movement.

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

Camera exists - of course it does otherwise we would have nothing in view in game - you just cant control it enough to make any real worthwhile use of it though as far as I am aware and you cant have additional cameras which would be nice.

Not sure if you can move the camera position somewhat (or at all) so as to get alignment with a new weapon for instance but its actually better to move the weapon in that instance or you may have probs - I moved the weapon.

If anyone can control the camera to any extent like have it follow a rocket or something good like that then I am sure we would all like to hear about it.

A lot depends on the camera in FPSC being where it is so I doubt you could do much with it successfully - again someone may prove that to be incorrect.

90% Camera Control!!!

All Rights are Reserved... This Script may NOT be sold as part of a pack or by it self. This script may NOT be edited and Sold as part of a pack or by it self. As I am the only one to come UP with this idea, don't claim it is yours and then sell it. OR ELSE!

This script MAY be edited and used in YOUR game, but you MUST put
"CutScene Script by Merranvo@Yahoo.com"
as the credit.

Of course there is no way to cap gun control... It is a script for a cut scene I am working on.

Once again, attach to a skull.

BUT replace the current scull.fpe with this one.

Merranvo, I want my FPSC level to serve me coffee. I'll give you full credit. I don't mind if it's served by a Skull

Good work mate.

Hmm, if you turn the skull into a sauser, you can put the coffee cup on him, and he will go to you!

Ha, FPSC Serves you coffee.

Yes, the camera has been fully tested, and Toyed with for like an hour trying to get it to do EXACTALLY what it does as of this moment.

The script is easy, but moving it to exact positions is harder... I still need to make the enemy scripts, which will be 3 enemys on the left side, one at a machien, another picking up a gun. Then when you turn there are like 6 enemys rushing out.

The coffee is bugged up. You will need to make the coffee entity an enemy, and make a saucer (possibly the plate entity will do) and it will look like the coffee is going to you.

Also you need the wantsomecoffee.wav

What WILL happen, because this is such a simple script, is that if coffie, saucer, and person are placed in the right way, it will "appear" that the person is bringing the coffee to you, but of course, if you move at a different angle, it doesn't look so good.

[to above]
It will create cutscenes, the coffee script is a joke, nothing really good there, until we get some more commands, I may see if I can rig another script command "enemytake" which will attach an object to an enemy, if I can figure out how a few other things work.

But cutscenes, think about it! And this script can be used like a camera, it forces the plr to stay in 1 location. FOREVER. until released.

(Halo CE? Collecters Edition?)

uhh, you mean the external camera...

Yeah, that is a harder script, still do able, but now you need an enemy to represent the plr, And Riker 9 would make it easier with the ONKEY command. Else, you just are using the second activateifnear (mabey) or you might have to use the activatetarget... Much harder with scripts. Expecally since that runs off of low math (sines and cosines, but not much else) which we don't have.

Mabey I should rig in a MouseMove command too?

I still don't know how to make the BlockInput command, but then again, it is hard reading the source.

Reuben, we are talking about Halo: Custom Edition.
You could download it off the net and download other peoples maps. Not only that but you could hack and cheat in your own server. The best thing was going out of FPS mode and hovering and moving a flying camera. You could still use your player in this mode.

Good stuff, I made some movies using this hack.

Reuben - Although irrelevant, I doubt it.

Microsoft owns a percentage of Bungie, to my recollection, and I'm highly doubting that Billy Gates will be willing enough to let Steve Jobs lay his hands on it.

There is a version of Halo PC for macs. dont know if the custom edition download is available though- but the retail game halo is. all halos fans know that the game was originally a 3rd person rts for the macintosh.

Bungie used to make mac-only shooters like Marathon which was great in it's day.

So I guess it wouldn't seem a huge stretch to go back to their roots.

Plus, microsoft have a stake in apple these days, unless I'm mistaken.

My copy of halo:combat evelved is running on our G5- wich is a mac.
It a demo version but the demo is totaly fun.
Actualy people shouldent buy the full version: they should just get the demo .
And if they want more fun they can buy.
